
Madurai mutton chukka: இந்த பொடிய சேர்த்து போடுங்க மட்டன் சுக்கா சுவை எப்படினு பாருங்க Madurai is not only popular for jasmine flower (Madurai malli) , also for Madurai food, especially Madurai Sukka. This recipe has a unique touch of a favourable simple masala powder and not much of ingredients. A must try recipe... Ingredients : To boil mutton: 1/2 kg mutton boneless 1 tsp turmeric powder 11/2 tsp chilli powder 11/2 tsp ginger garlic paste Salt Masala powder for sukka: 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp pepper 1 tsp fennel seeds For making sukka: 11/2 Tbsp sesame oil 1 inch cinnamon 4-5 cloves 1/2 tsp fennel seeds 2 bay leaves 1 handful of small onions chopped 1/2 tomato chopped Salt Curry leaves Direction: Boil mutton with the specified ingredients and keep oil aside. Grind coarsely the sukka powder and keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan and add cinnamon, cloves, fennel seeds, bay leaves and fry. Add sukka powder into it to get the flavour . Add onion and fry well, then add tomato, fry. Add the boiled mutton into the pan and boil it until it gets dry. Once dry add curry leaves and remove from fire.
