
MOR KUZHAMBU | Butter milk kulambu | Jo kitchen Its a popular South Indian cuisine recipe with yogurt or buttermilk. It taste too good with hot steamed rice. I like the aroma very much. The time taken for this morkozhambu is only during preparation time, but the cooking time is very less. Ingredients: 2 cups chopped white pumpkin 2 tsp coconut oil 1 tsp mustard seed 2 red chilli A pinch asafoetida (optional) Curry leaves 2 cups yogurt 1 tsp turmeric powder Salt To grind: 11/2 tsp cumin seed 2 tsp coriander seed 1/2 tsp thoor dal 1/2 tsp rice 3-4 green chilli 1 inch ginger 3 Tbsp shredded coconut Direction: Except chilli, ginger and coconut soak the ingredients for 20 mins and grind altogether to a paste, keep it aside. Take the yogurt in a bowl whisk until no lumps with turmeric powder, and mix with the ground paste, keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed and red chilli, add the veg saute. Add water , cover the pan and cook. Then add the yogurt mixture and let it boil for a min until you look the foamy seen on top. Add curry leaves and off the flame.
