Paleo / Keto Thai Green Chicken curry | Green curry recipe in tamil | தாய் க்ரீன் சிக்கன் கறி | தாய் க்ரீன் சிக்கன் கறி : Thai cuisine is very well known for its aromatic ingredients and spiciness. Next to Indian food my whole family’s preference is “Thai cuisine”. Whenever we plan for outside lunch/ dinner everyones choice will be for Thai food. Thai green curry is the very tasty. Even though with a lot of ingredients its very simple to make. I have realised all those ingredients are easily available in India and also other places too. Thai basil - is nothing but a basil leaves from where we take the Subja seeds in Tamil we used to call “Thirunuthi pachilai” that will be available even at all house side . Galangal - “Sitharathai” / Blue ginger that is good for cough and cold. Turmeric - “ young turmeric” . Kafir lime - “Naaruthangai” we use it in all houses to make pickle. Lemon grass - citric and a kind of lemon flavour. ( I love it ) Thai green curry paste : https://youtu.be/kYZmsr5dwlk Ingredients : 200g boneless chicken 5-6 green brinjals 1/4 cup bitter berry (sundaikkai) 2 cups coconut milk from 3 cups shredded coconut 3 Tbsp Thai green curry paste (Link : https://youtu.be/kYZmsr5dwlk) 1 tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp cumin powder Salt 10-12 Thai basil ( thirunuthi pachilai) 2 kafir lime leaves ( Naruthangai leaves) Direction: Boil half of the coconut milk and leave for 5 mins, add Thai green curry paste and stir. Add chicken , salt, coriander and cumin powder into it and cook the chicken 75% Add vegetables and rest of the coconut milk into the pan and cover it , cook for another 5 mins. Once done garnish the curry with Thai basil and kafir lime leaves.
